Last week, we started a project making a paper out of paper mache'. First, we started out with copper wire and formed it into a shape of a tree. We pasted paper and newspaper over the wire. We pasted 4 layers of paper.
This week, we are finishing the trunk and getting ready to paint it. We will head up to Davidson and take pictures of parts of trees. We also collected some branches for our sculpture.
To see the end result of this sculpture, you will have to stop by the Davidson Gallery Crawl next Friday, where it will be displayed. We hope to see you there.
